Ross MacAnespie MRICS
Director (Building Surveying)

Ross qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1990 and has worked mainly in Private Practice since then. He joined nbm in 2018 to set up the Building Surveying department.

Ross has for the last thirty years worked on a wide range of commercial, industrial and retail projects and instructions. His work has covered all areas traditionally associated with Building Surveying including Defects Diagnosis, Repair and Maintenance, Pre-acquisition Surveys, Dilapidations, Principal Designer Role, Contract Administration and Bank Monitoring work.

Ross has developed a wide range of professional practice and project skills, working for a variety of Private and Public Sector clients. He is client and solution driven, appreciating that every project requires a fresh approach and a unique solution.

Ross’s experience varies from small scale traditional Building Surveying instructions to larger commercial instructions and includes buildings of traditional and modern construction. This breadth of experience is of great benefit when reviewing contractors’ proposals and providing Principal Designer Services.

Dip BS from Glasgow College of Building and Printing.
Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
