118 key new build Hampton by Hilton hotel constructed in the former car park of the Hamilton Park Racecourse.
Hampton by Hilton at Hamilton Park Racecourse for Hamilton Park Racecourse was the delivery of 118 key new build hotel with associated front of house, food and beverage and back of house areas, external works, infrastructure & services.
The project was completed in August 2019, within budget, successfully achieving the clients required timescales and budget constraints.
The project utilised modular construction, in this instance, bedroom models, formed of shipping containers from CIMC Modular Building Systems where installed on a steel and concrete deck first floor deck. This format means that the hotel rooms arrive onsite fully furnished and to a high standard of fit and finish. It substantially reduces the construction period onsite, with Hamilton Park being 60 weeks vs. 72 weeks for a traditional build programme.
The onsite works were completed via a Design and Build contractor, with external envelope, services and final fit out all provided within their contract.
