Highland Park have been making whiskey in Orkney for over 200 years in their distillery on the outskirts of Kirkwall and decided it was time to create a retail outlet within the town itself as well as at the distillery. Nbm worked with an architect and a local builder to transform a vacated shop unit to a unique retail store with visitor experience/tasting areas together with a gallery area to display local artwork and crafts.
