Restoration of Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre at Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow
Full restoration of buildings and amphitheatre to the approval of Historic Scotland. Localised underpinning and new toilet and kitchen facilities added via new extensions. Existing terrace seating repaired and extended with ramped access being introduced. Introduction of heating and ventilation to the main building. Renewal of all drainage and upgrading of PA and audio, IT , Data to accommodate larger visiting production companies. Landscape upgrades and replacement of lighting columns with led lighting to the amphitheatre.
Following the traditional procurement route, nbm as cost consultants, provided our expert knowledge from inception of the project to completion. Through the pre-contract stages, cost control was paramount and we worked closely with the team and stakeholders to accurately estimate the cost of the works and therefore the funding target.
